Projection
A possible future development of one or more parameters, often calculated with the aid of a model.
A possible future development of one or more parameters, often calculated with the aid of a model. A distinction is made between projections and predictions so as to underscore that projections include assumptions regarding e.g. future socioeconomic and technological developments that may or may not come to pass and are consequently subject to considerable uncertainty.
