Microwaves
A type of electromagnetic wave.
The term “microwaves” encompasses decimetre, centimetre and millimetre waves. Microwaves are electromagnetic waves with a wavelength of between 1 m and 1 mm, which equates to a frequency range of ca. 300 MHz to 300 GHz. Microwaves are used in radar.
