Krill
Krill is a collective term for small swarming crustaceans.
Krill is a collective term for small swarming crustaceans. Krill chiefly feed on microalgae, but also on copepods. Krill are the main food source for many whale, seal, fish, squid and bird species. Accordingly, they hold a central position in the food chain in Antarctic waters.
