Dynamic regional models “reconstruct” Earth’s climate system on the basis of physically describable relations. Dynamic models exclusively draw on initial data from the global models they are based on. They project – in relatively high spatial and temporal resolution – the future development of meteorological parameters like the temperature and precipitation.
