Percentile
A parameter used in the statistical evaluation of e.g. measurements and which provides a distribution value.
A parameter used in the statistical evaluation of e.g. measurements and which is expressed in relation to 100% of the respective parameter. Percentiles are distribution values and are often used to estimate the extrema in a given distribution. For example, 90 percent of the values lie below the 90th percentile; only 10 percent lie above the 90th percentile.
