Land-use change
Refers to changes in how land is used or managed by human beings.
Refers to changes in how land is used or managed by human beings, which can lead to changes in land cover. Land-cover and land-use changes can affect the surface albedo, evaporation, greenhouse-gas sources and sinks, or other properties of the climate system, and can accordingly produce radiative forcing and/or other effects on the local or global climate.
