Conference of the Parties
In the context of international law, the Conference of the Parties (COP) is the highest body at an international convention, e.g. the UNFCCC in 1992.
In the context of international law, the Conference of the Parties (COP) is the highest body at an international convention, e.g. the UNFCCC in 1992, and which, under the Convention, convenes once a year. After the UNFCCC entered into force in 1994, the first Conference of the Parties (COP1) was held in Berlin in 1995.
